NextNV is a nonpartisan policy communications organization housed at the Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR) at the University of Nevada, Reno. Founded three years ago as an incubator for emerging Nevada industries, NextNV has evolved into a statewide think tank and communications group. The reason is simple: Nevada is changing faster than the public conversation can keep up. Data centers, lithium mining, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and artificial intelligence are reshaping the state's economy, its infrastructure, and its communities. Nevadans deserve to understand what is coming, what it means for their water, their power bills, their roads, and their jobs, and to have a voice in the policy decisions that follow.
